Poor Hiccups metal leg isn't very good for climbing very tall vertical stone walls 
I always thought she said Crows Tooth (which makes no sense whatsoever) but apparently it's Crones Tooth

Technically Hiccup can climb walls fairly well, in the show, he has to race Snoutlout up a wall to get onto his dragon, he loses, but makes it up with a fairly good time.
