Grrr my work just seems to get crapper and crapper by the upload lol!

Oh well, another method of killing time I've thought of O_o

OK I love languages (I only know a bit of french but I've probabaly forgotton most of it and I'm soo wanting to learn Korean ;) )

Anyway back to the point I decided to make a pic of a couple of my favourite animated couples, some Disney some Non-Disney and use the language of the country the film is based in to say "I Love You!"

So Aladdin & Jasmine - Arabic (Agrabah isnt a real country in case you didnt know so I just chose Arabic :) )

Belle & Beast - French

Anastasia & Dimitri - Russian (since these two are originally from Russia I chose this language, despite the fact that they end up in Paris :) )

Snow White & The Prince - German (I saw Snow White in the German part of Epcot so I'm assuming shes German :P )

Mulan & Shang - Chinese

Hercules & Meg - Greek

Ariel & Eric - Danish (since Hans Christian Anderson is from Denmark and the famous Little Mermaid statue is in Copenhagan I thought it only right to use Danish :) )

Kiara & Kovu - Swahili (I prefer this couple to Simba and Nala before you start shouting lol, and I chose Swahili since Africa is a continent with many different languages and I chose Swahili :) )

Pics are mostly from the Magical Screencaps website : [link]
The translations are from Googles Langauge Tools lol so if they are wrong blame Google :D
And programme used - Word and Paint (again grr)

Ah, I was wondering why you chose Danish for the Little Mermaid, but it makes a lot of sense to base it off Hans Christian Anderson. This is awesome, I love learning languages myself.

1) The Arabic seems correct. (I'm used to using "أنا أحب", which is "I love" (Ana A-Hob), but it would make sense to say "أنا أحبك" ("Ana A-Hobika" to a male and "Ana A-Hobiki" to a female) , since a second-person pronoun such as "you" often adds "ك" ("Ka" if masculine; "Ki" if feminine) at the end of the verb. I finished Arabic 101, so I'm only a really basic speaker. I could be wrong but it logically makes sense.) Since Agrabah seems like it's a stereotypical (and fictional) kingdom in the Middle East, I'd say that Arabic was a really good choice. :D
2) The French is correct. :D ("Je t'aime" is a shortcut of "Je te aime." The apostrophe is placed to separate the two vowels.) (But you probably already know this since you mentioned that you know French. :))
3) I believe the Russian is correct. (I only know a few phrases, and "I love you" isn't one of them.)
4) The German is correct. It's structured exactly like English. Ich (I) + liebe (love) + dich (you).
5) I only know Swedish, and the phrase for "I love you" is "
Jag älskar dig", and since Danish is mutually intelligible with Swedish, this should be the correct phrase to use. (Especially since "Jeg elsker dig" sounds so close.)
6) The Mandarin (Chinese) is correct. ("
我爱你" = "Wǒ ài nǐ", so if people ask you about it, yes, that's what it says. :D)
7) The Greek is correct. (You could also say "
Σ 'αγαπώ" (S'agapo) instead of "σε αγαπώ", since it capitalizes the sigma at the beginning and makes it a bit more grammatically accurate.)
8) I don't know Swahili, but I have a Kenyan friend who says "Nakupenda" to his wife, so it seems pretty correct.

It's totally fine if you can't or won't change the translations, and if google totally messed them up. This is just a congratulatory review from a polyglot for translations, and having an interest in languages. xP
